AVIC Hefei Hangtai Electrophysics Co.,Ltd was founded in July, 1995.Professional in China aircraft electromagnetic environment (lightning and electrostatic, high-intensity radiation field and electromagnetic pulse, etc.) protection technology test research .Now Hefei Hangtai is an independent legal entity under AVIC. Since its establishment 20 years ago, the company has broken through the technical blockade of foreign countries, initiated the experimental research work in the field of strong electromagnetic environmental protection of aircraft in China, filled the country blank , and made important contributions to the development of China’s aviation industry.

Pushing forward modern lightning protection techniques is I.L.P.A.’s goal.
Ever since 2006, I.L.P.A. intends to make the inventory of scientific, technical and practical elements backing up modern lightning protection, in order to push forward lightning protection techniques revolving around Early Streamer Emission (ESE) lightning protection systems.
